These Terms govern your use of the ToneCast website and software targets (the "Product"). By visiting this site or downloading ToneCast, you agree to these terms.
1. Open Source Licensing
ToneCast is developed openly and distributed provisional to the MIT License. The code repositories are hosted publicly on GitHub. You are free to view, compile, patch, fork, and distribute the project under the terms of the accompanying license files.
2. Software Use & Disclaimer
THE TONECAST SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.
3. Third-Party Formats
ToneCast loads user-supplied Neural Amp Modeler (.nam) models and Cabinet Impulse Response (.wav) files. The ToneCast project does not review or endorse these third-party audio files. Users assume full responsibility for confirming they have appropriate permissions or licenses for any profiles they load.
4. Early Access Modifications
ToneCast is currently In Development. Early Access test builds may contain bugs, incomplete features, or performance variances. We encourage users to submit bug reports directly via the GitHub issues page.
